Covenant of Companies for Climate and Energy
Important notice on pledging

Earn a Seal of Approval

The Seal of Approval is the award scheme that the Covenant of Companies offers to companies who sign up to the Covenant. Submitting a pledge is  a pre-condition to applying for a Seal of Approval.

The colour of the Seal earned by companies upon implementation of their pledge will depend on the level of ambition shown in the pledge they submit.

They will then have a time limit by which to implement and submit proof of successful implementation of their pledged action to the Covenant in order to earn a Bronze, Silver or Gold Seal.

Bronze, Silver and Gold Seals

The Covenant of Companies will award Seals in three categories of Bronze, Silver and Gold to companies who report and provide proof of successful completion of their pledges.

The companies will receive the Seals in the form of certificates and social media assets. The Seals will illustrate to their customers and consumers the businesses’ climate-consciousness and progress towards decarbonisation.
